We are a small family concern based in the middle of the Blackmore Vale in beautiful Dorset.
We build Poultry Houses,Chicken Runs,Chicken Houses,Hen Houses,Chicken Arks,Duck Houses,and Goose Houses. These are all hand built in Dorset using traditional authentic styles from Victorian period designs through to 1930’s style houses.
Our wood is pressure treated and on top of this preserved or you can finish to your own requirements. Painting to your own garden colour has proved to be very popular. All joints are zinc screwed and all roofing timbers are galvanized nailed. All arks and houses are individually handmade from start to finish to give that authentic look and something that you would be proud to own. We can build to your own requirements incorporating add on runs or integral runs. All houses come with removable perches and nest boxes. A droppings board can also be supplied if required.
The pop holes to the houses are either swing rounds or cord operated and all backs and lids are fully removable to assist easy cleaning. Handles are on all the houses and runs to assist easy movement. We would recommend that you do treat yearly to keep the wood conditioned .
